To give this brewery a welcomed edge, Collazo’s Puerto Rican heritage is demonstrated through authentic cuisine served inside the buoyant taproom. Since 2017, City Built aligns its lauded core lineup with brewery collaborations and paying homage to rap duo Run The Jewels with a recent “Look Ma! No Hands” double dry-hopped IPA to keep things fresh. From imperial stouts to IPAs, sours, and pilsners, the beers showcase the brewery’s inventiveness using an array of spices, exotic fruit, and other adjuncts the right way: balanced and simply delicious. With a knack for captivating the eye thanks to award-winning can labels including a recent national winner, Prague Underground, Collazo makes sure the beer warrants the same accolades. Definitely would go back. With Grand Rapids consistently regarded as one of the best beer cities in the country, City Built CEO Edwin Collazo and team have done a stellar job making their name known. Winchester also had a selection of 10 beers on tap and beer fridge with a good selection for some take out. Also on the sweeter side, with the vinegar and a little spice. There was also a Carolina type of vinegar sauce. The spicier sauce did provide a little kick and was tasty as well. The first sauce was a good sweet, but not thick, bbq sauce. It was on the sweeter side but went well with the meat. Like a lot of places, the sides are not as important and the normal portions are small. I also ordered baked beans, mac & cheese, and a piece of cornbread. The stars, for me, were the ribs and brisket (fatty). A guy gave me a piece of tri-tip when I mentioned I hadn't tried it before. I tried 5 of the meats (brisket, ribs, pulled pork, sausage). The restaurant feels more like a club than a restaurant. They were able to get the order in and brought to me. When I was able to get an order of food, that's when the service was better. I had to get my own plates and cutlery since the workers were too busy talking to each other. Sangria was delicious and easy to drink here. My friends weren't too pleased with them. I assume it's a hit or miss as others have told me it was good. The Brussel sprouts were overcooked for us. Probably the best dish I had at the restaurant. For the price you pay, I expected better. The had a mariachi band playing live music until 7pm. We had a large group, which they accommodated. The atmosphere is good and it's located next to San Pedro Square. SP2 hasn't change since my colleges years, which was a very long time ago. Plenty of TVs on the inside plenty of TVs on the outside we went there to watch a warriors game ask to pay $10 cover charge because of a boxing game I thought it was funny because on the inside of the bar there is literally seven people at the bar he said we can sit on the patio that was free for the warriors game so we said yes and we went back there I found out that's where all the people were I get it it's slow and everything but don't charge a cover charge with seven people at the bar it's not worth it anyways great time heat lamps in the back good people very clean area easy to find definitely recommend checking out the Brit if you like the Brit definitely check out the original brick on Almaden really good bartenders there on speakers that are really suck music is very quiet but overall the people and the bartenders are very friendly definitely recommend checking out both locations Dont asked for limes they where at least a week old other then that. I’m not sure if the food here is rotated or anything, but I would love to come back! It’s a brown ale that looks like a stout/porter. I paired this with the Board Meeting beer. I really loved their garlic aïoli because it really packs a spicy punch. It really is smashed the meat is flat and it looks like it’s almost a cheese crisp. I’ve been here before to eat spicy chicken sandwiches, but for now, it seems like the only things on their menu are the duck fat fries and the Smashburger. The succulents on the wall and the string lights were cute. We chose to sit outside for some fresh air. The service is super friendly and I liked their selection of drinks. I can see why because it provides a friendly, laid-back atmosphere. There is ample space, and when we came around 5:30 on a Friday, there weren’t many people yet, but by the time we left, it was packed.
